- This order may be called the Cycle and Rickshaw Tyres and Tubes (Quality Control) Order, 2023.
- It shall come into force on the expiry of six months from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
- For large or foreign manufacturers, this QCO shall come into force on the expiry of 6 months from the date of publication of this notification.
- For small manufacturers, this order shall come into force on the expiry of 9 months and for micro level enterprises or manufacturers, it shall come into form on the expiry of 12 months from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.

Compulsory use of Standard Mark
As the Bureau of Indian Standards (Govt. of India) has made BIS Certification mandatory for Cycle and Rickshaw Tyres and Tubes, manufacturers must have BIS license to manufacture these products within a given time in the QCO.
