Procedure for Obtaining ISI Certification
There are two kinds of processes, one is a normal process which takes 60 – 65 days and the other process takes 35-40 days which is known as a simplified process.
In the normal process, the manufacturer must prepare the BIS certification-related documents for lab verification which are defined by the Indian Standards.
Later, BIS officials will conduct an inspection process of the products and the factory where the products are designed. After the verification of products by the officials the samples are tested by BIS-approved labs.
