Standardization is a METHOD of establishing and implementing rules/standards in a methodical manner for an article/specific activity for the benefits and with the cooperation of all parties involved for the present and future sustained development of the economy and industry while taking functional conditions and safety requirements into consideration.
iNDUCE INDIA- Standardization (Scientific) Division is entrusted with the Formulation of National Standards and the development of the Standards.
Our Standardization division is dedicated to :-
- To perform its jobs to the best of its ability to help the corporates to formulate the standards and develop the standards in line with the International Standards.
- To achieve social and economic development.
- To enhance International competitiveness of products and services.
- To safeguard the interest of consumers.
ACTIVITIES
The main activity of the Standardization (Scientific) Division is to support and guide the industry to formulate the Standards.
The tasks relate to this division is as follows :-
- Assist the industry in the formulation of New Standards
- Study of International quality management practice and standards
- Work in close corporation with the Govt agencies to update and revise the existing Standards.
