Quality Control Order for Gamma Picoline

To ensure public health and environmental safety, the Indian government has issued a Quality Control Order (QCO) for Gamma Picoline under the purview of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. The QCO mandates that no person shall manufacture, store for sale, sell, or import Gamma Picoline without the BIS certification. Ministry OF Chemicals  and Fertilizers (Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals)has issued Quality Control Orders (QCO)  on the date,16th June, 2020, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards to regulate the quality of Gamma Picoline for their production, import, and sale.

(1)This order may be called the Gamma Picoline (Quality Control) Order, 2020.

(2)It shall come into force on the one hundred and eighty-first day from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

(3)It shall apply to goods or articles specified in column (1) of the Table below, but nothing herein shall apply to such goods or articles meant for export.
